  Where to surf	At the river mouth
  Best season	April to August
  Best tide	Mid-tide
  Nearby surf breaks	Pilon
  Lodging	A variety of places, but they fill up quickly
  Food	There are a few places to eat
  Tips	This area is crowded

   

• Playa Matapalo

  General description	The rocky point with a right wave
  Waves	Excellent waves, but it is very dangerous when getting out of the water.
  Where to surf	At the point. Be careful when you get out. It is advisable to go out with a local surfer.
  Best season	April to August
  Best tide	Mid-tide
  Nearby surf breaks	Back Wash
  Food	There are no places to eat
